Erica Peterson AKA Erica M Cornelius serves as the Outer Head of the Order for the McMurtry A.’.A.’. In 2002, she earned a PhD in Philosophy and Science Studies from University of California, San Diego. She joined the McMurtry A.’.A.’. as a Probationer 0° = 0 on July 21, 2009, assuming her present motto of Absorbeo 410 on June 28, 2012. On February 22, 2016 she took the Oath of Adeptus Minor 5°=6, initiating as an Adeptus Minor, Inner on December 29 of the same year. A contributor to and editor of the lineage’s series of books entitled Essays, she has written four books: On Getting a Bullshit Meter, Or, “If I Remember Lemuria, Will You Pay Me $100 a Year?” (2016), The Scarlet Woman and the Ancient Mercurial Serpent (2020), The Snake Who Made Gods of Our Race (2022), and Love & Will (2023). Peterson runs the A.’.A.’. website and distributes the Order’s books. Serving also as Praemonstratrix, Peterson currently runs Pure Joy Clerk House in Woodstock Georgia.
