Do at least one thing for your magickal path every day: make the affirmation that the earth plane will not win!
If you’ve decided to enter the magickal path, do something for your path every day. Why? The earth plane will try in every way possible to knock you off the path. Do at least one thing for your magickal path every day: make the affirmation that the earth plane will not win!
- Write in my magickal journal every day.
- Meditate for 15 minutes. [Oops! Didn't make it today. Kids were sick!]
- Phoenix Ritual Weekly [Tomorrow's my last chance to fulfill my word this week.]
Students–especially A.’.A.’. students, whether solitary or not–need to understand that ordinary problems are not ordinary.
- Every Earth-plane problem represents the world trying to distract you. Refuse to be distracted!
- Every Earth-plane temptation (canonically a new relationship that “just so happens” to appear when you’ve made a serious spiritual commitment) represents the world trying to distract you. Refuse to be distracted!
- There is no such thing as the future. If you aren’t putting your magickal path first (despite “rendering unto Caesar” and getting your biz done), you’ll never do it. Simply put, if you act as if you are a slave of Malkuth’s laws, you are and will remain that way! Refuse to be distracted!
“…the slaves shall serve.” —AL: II:58
At the very least, write in your magickal diary every day.
And don’t fall for the HUGE MISCONCEPTION that the magickal record is only for rituals. Remember Aleister Crowley’s First Theorem in Magick and Theory and Practice: “Every intentional act is a Magical Act.” Your magick, such as it is, manifests on Malkuth. Whatever your life is like, that’s what your magick is producing. Take a clue.
Every intentional act is a Magical Act.
–Aleister Crowley
“Stuff happens.” Yes, that’s the lie that the Slave Gods want you swallow. Thelema is the path for those who embrace their birthright as Gods. Don’t let the bastards win!
Do ONE THING on your path every day so as to drive a wedge between yourself and slavery.
