Joining the A.’.A.’. makes you aware of things that you didn’t notice before. It affects your whole perception of reality. It seems like there’s a sharpness to things sometimes. Synchronicities happen continuously. Suddenly what was familiar seems unfamiliar. The experience varies from person to person, so it’s not something you can easily define, if at all. There are too many nuances.
What if you’ve been sold an unreal “reality” by deluded worldly rulers? Yes, there may be corrupt rulers. But you must realize that you are a co-creator of reality. Even if the entire world is a hologram or a dream or a computer simulation or Hell itself, it doesn’t really matter. The important thing is to not let the seeming deceptions around you distract you from the Work. Anyways, for the most part people are merely operating on autopilot, so it may not be as intentional as you think.
For example, of course I think 9/11 was an inside job; you can see the blast charges on the corners of the buildings exploding so that both towers would collapse. Nevertheless, people have and will continue to do shitty things in the name of greed and control as their God is Mammon.
All I can worry about is the state of my own karma. I’ve found that by changing the inside, the outside follows suit to a large extent. In any case, the point is that most leaders are working according to their ego and their wants. But who’s to say that it’s not all part of a larger plan?
I don’t think it is our job to mete out retribution or to fight violence with violence unless it’s absolutely necessary. However, if it is your will to be someone actively involved in politics, then by all means follow that path to its end. But remember, disinformation, deceit, lies, et al. are all around, so even the “truths” you have discovered may be lies in the end. History is written by the winners of the battle, so it’s inherently biased. For example, free energy has been available for decades (a reason why Tesla was killed). Part of waking up is realizing that we all have been lied to and that the lies originating from those in power will continue indefinitely.
In any case, all these conspiracies and news of tragic events are designed to keep you agitated, anxious, and angry. The best thing to do is to stay away from the media altogether I find. Change yourself and be satisfied in doing so. If we are doing our Will then the orbit of our Star will never collide with another Star.
In the end, this Aeon is about going inside, knowing thyself, purifying the body, and becoming a suitable Avatar so that you become worthy of being a vessel for the Messiah–“Is a God to live in a dog? No!” (Liber L vel Legis, II:19). Being a Thelemite involves dissolving the ego such that you end up realizing that there is no difference between your mind and the Universe. Therefore, work on purifying the mind and knowing the whole truth about yourself and the rest will follow.
To use a Buddhist metaphor: We are Thelemic Bodhisattvas. We reach out to those who are ready and help to wake them up, one at a time. The Great Work never ends, but our actions do have effects. That’s why it is important to maintain Right Intent in everything we do.
