For sex magick to work, the Woman must learn Service and Silence to treat the Man she chooses as a God, which is the only way that allows him to channel and become an avatar of God and for her to become an avatar of the Goddess. The Woman (IHVH) is at first the prima materia that is transformed to generate and give birth to the new Gnostic Christ (IHShVH). Hence her need to be “Virgin” unto the Lord. Since IHVH is ultimately equivalent to the Devil, in both its negative and positive potentials, it follows that the Woman is also a manifestation, or Avatar, of the Devil. Once success is achieved, the Woman becomes nothing less than Sophia personified.
