As you may know, I assumed Probationer back in 1979 and rose grade by grade until I reached the frontiers of the Abyss and took the Oath of a Magister Templi while standing in front of Grady Louis McMurtry (1918–1985) aka Frater Hymenaeus Alpha 777 Xth O.T.O., 9=2 AA in 1984. I was Grady’s number one student.
My book details all the things that I was taught by Grady Louis McMurtry regarding Jack Parsons’ and Aleister Crowley’s views about the Oath of the Abyss and lots more. From Choronzon to the obligations before taking the Oath to the Qliphoth, Daath, and Abaddon, to the spiritual goal of crossing, this book cites dozens upon dozens of places where Crowley discusses this oath, its ordeals, and its ultimate goal. It also details the greatest dangers in swearing this Oath prematurely, or redesigning it to fit your own proclivities.
